LogiCamms awarded $3.5 billion contract for Victorian Desalination Project

The contract, awarded by Theiss Degremont, involves supply, installation support and site acceptance testing of the Project Control Systems at the desalination plant.

The Victorian Desalination Project is being delivered by AquaSure, which comprises Degrémont, Thiess, and Macquarie Capital.
 

Adam Keats, LogiCamms managing director said: “We have considerable expertise in the Water sector, having worked on many significant water projects, including the Adelaide Desalination Pilot Plant and the Adelaide Desalination Plant Transfer Pipe project. We are delighted to have succeeded in securing this project having competed against international competition, as it demonstrates our capacity to secure blue chip projects against global leaders in our industry.”
 

The fixed price component of the contract is $10.75 million, with site works to be undertaken on a rates reimbursable basis.
