Professional Water Technologies receives certification for ten primary products

14 July 2010

The California business unit of H20 Innovation received NSF/ANSI Standard 60 Certification from the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF).

NSF/ANSI Standard 60 Certification is required for chemicals which are applied in drinking water systems. Certification is only attained after the additive has passed a battery of tests to ensure its compliance with safety standards as described by NSF.

Stephen Dunham, Professional Water Technologies (PWT) founder and vice-president of After-Market Consumables, H2O Innovation, said: “Although PWT has enjoyed ANSI/NSF Standard 60 Certification from Underwriters Laboratories for ten years, having our certification from NSF specifically was desirable for a certain segment of our customer base. NSF Certification could lead to exciting new opportunities for PWT, in both the municipal drinking water and industrial markets, notably in the food and beverage industry. We listened to the market and are proud to have secured our NSF certification for PWT’s flagship antiscalants and membrane cleaners: SpectraGuard, SpectraGuard SC, Titan ASD 200, Titan ASD 200 SC, Lavasol I, Lavasol II, Lavasol V, OptiClean A, OptiClean B, and OptiClean S.”
