Jacobs Engineering Group to lead Scottish Water Solutions partnership programme

Jacobs will lead the programme management and engineering design and is expected to provide health and safety leadership and asset maintenance advice.

Scottish Water Solutions brings together Scottish Water with Jacobs Engineering UK Ltd, Veolia Water UK Plc and Laing O'Rourke Infrastructure Ltd. The partnership will deliver in excess of $720 million of Scottish Water's new Capital Investment Programme over a five year period.

Geoff Aitkenhead, Scottish Water's Asset Management Director and Scottish Water Solutions' chairman said: “This joint venture has been chosen for its expertise and experience in each of consortium partners chosen fields. This is a partnership with an exciting blend of the right skills and brings best practice from the private sector to bear on the delivery of public water and waste water treatment infrastructure. We are delighted that the new Scottish Water Solutions partners will be at the forefront of delivering capital efficiency.”
