Premier Tech Aqua introduces wastewater disinfection for isolated dwellings

29 July 2010

Following a business agreement with UV Pure Technologies, Premier Tech Aqua has introduced a self-cleaning UV unit for the disinfection of wastewater from isolated dwellings.

Premier Tech Aqua’s DiUV automatic self-cleaning system integrates UV Pure’s Crossfire technology. The self-cleaning functionality ensures a daily cleaning independent of the variations of water quality and lifestyle (flow rates and stop periods) observed from one household to the next. The compact and flexible DiUV is compatible with most advanced secondary treatment systems.

Roger Lacasse, scientific and technical director, Premier Tech Aqua, said: “Field validation tests demonstrated the high reliability and efficiency of the self-cleaning systems using the UV Crossfire technology. We observed that the treatment performance was maintained even in the most demanding conditions. Moreover, the treatment chain including an Ecoflo Biofilter combined to the DiUV self-cleaning is now NQ 3680-910 certified.”
