Black & Veatch re-entered the Australian market in 2006 and opened its Melbourne office in 2008. Recent regional project work includes its appointment as part of the Eastern Tertiary Alliance, which will deliver the Aus$380 million Tertiary Upgrade of the Eastern Treatment Plant in Melbourne; and its participation in the detail design of some aspects of the Victorian Desalination Project. Black & Veatch was also appointed to Melbourne Water’s panel of consultants during 2009.
