GE Water have named Frederick Liberatore as global director, process separations, essentially in charge of the process membrane business for GE Water. Liberatore comes from the position of technical marketing manager for food and beverage, and has been with GE since 2003. His background includes specialisation in reverse osmosis and ultrafiltration equipment.

His new role with GE will involve developing new applications for the process membranes sector of the business, and driving new business with OEMs.

Liberatore will be based in GE Water's Vista, California facility.
