Tata Chemicals wins product innovation award

A panel of five leading industry experts awarded Tata Chemicals with the 2010 ICIS Innovation Award for best product innovation for the Tata Swach nanotechnology water purifier.

Tata Chemical’s Tata Swach is an offline household water purification system which delivers safe and affordable drinking water. The water purifier does not require electricity or running water, contains no harmful bacteria, and produces 3,000 litres of safe drinking water from each Tata Swach bulb.
