Hyflux will operate and maintain the plants over the 30-year concession periods.
The Hexin District Wastewater Treatment Plant will treat 20 000 m3 per day of wastewater for the industrial park, the Weituo Wastewater Treatment Plant will be designed to have a treatment capacity of 20 000 m3 per day for the industrial park, while the Weituo Water Treatment Plant will tap water from upstream Jialing River to produce up to 50 000 m3 of potable water per day for industrial and domestic use.
Hyflux should complete the three plants by the end of 2012.
