Saudi Water & Power Forum innovation award announced

The Saudi Water & Power Forum (SWPF) has announced that its Award for Innovation and the Marafiq Award for Sustainability will be presented at the event’s inauguration ceremony on 4th December 2011.

HE Abdullah Al-Hussayen, the Saudi minister of water & electricity, will lead the awards ceremony followed by a gala dinner.

The SWPF Award for Innovation will reward the company acknowledged by its industry peers as having been the most innovative in the Saudi power and/or water sectors over the past year. The recipient for the Marafiq Award will be recognised for their work in the fields of environmental, economic and social sustainability in the country.
