Li is responsible for overall operations in the Severn Trent Services' Shanghai office, including technical sales, field service, project engineering, procurement, customer service and quality assurance. He is also responsible for health and safety compliance for site operations.

Severn Trent Services says that he has 15 years of experience in the industrial and municipal wastewater markets with expertise in engineering, project management and company operations. Prior to joining Severn Trent Water Technologies, he served as office manager and chief environmental engineer for Earth Systems Ltd.; project development manager for Montgomery Watson Harza Global Inc.; and senior environmental engineer for URS Corporation – all in Shanghai.
