H20 Innovation Professional Water Technologies' products receive kosher certification

27 August 2009

Products from H20 Innovation Inc’s Professional Water Technologies unit have recently obtained new or renewed approvals in England, Wales, Scotland and Israel. Leading products from Professional Water Technologies have also obtained kosher certification.

H20 Innovation Inc. is a complete water treatment solutions company providing custom designed water treatment systems and operating and maintenance solutions. Jim Peterson, Chief Operating Officer of H20 Innovation Inc. said: “We are happy to see Professional Water Technologies’ products obtain these approvals and are confident that they will contribute to making our membrane conditioners and cleaners the choice of more and more leading water treatment plants worldwide.”

Professional Water Technologies’ SpectraGuard SC has been approved for use by a water supply company for public water supply in England, Scotland and Wales. SpectraGuard SC is a high performance liquid super concentrate antiscalant for reverse osmosis and nanofiltration membrane filtration systems. These approvals open up a sizable new market in Great Britain for Professional Water Technologies’ flagship product.

In Israel, approval has been renewed for five years for SpectraGuard SC’use in reverse osmosis systems for the production of drinking water. All Professional Water Technologies’ line of membrane pre-treatment chemicals, antiscalants, biological fouling and organic fouling control products have been certified kosher according to the Jewish laws. Kosher certification means that water produced by reverse osmosis and nanofiltration systems using Professional Water Technologies’ products can be used in the food and beverage industry where kosher certification is a requirement in the production process.

In total more than 15 Professional Water Technologies products have complied with ANSI/NSF Standard 60 requirements for drinking water chemicals and have obtained UL certificates of compliance.
