The combination of a mountainous terrain and a growing infrastructure are creating complications within the monitoring and controlling of water and wastewater transportation in Chongqing. The Chongqing Water Group has identified a temperature gap between the wastewater in the treatment plant's pipes and the surrounding environment. ITT intends to apply its heat-exchange technology to enable the Chongqing Water Group to collect and recycle this heat power from this temperature gap efficiently.
Mike Kuchenbrod, president of ITT China & India said: “ITT is committed to applying its innovative and efficient water technologies to build sustainable infrastructure in China. We are pleased to partner with the Chongqing Water Group, whose experience in the local water market and knowledge of the city’s unique demands will allow us to provide effective water solutions.”
