Aqua Enviro inviting abstracts for 4th European Water and Wastewater Conference

The theme of the 4th European Water and Wastewater (EWWM) Conference is ‘Reducing the Environmental Footprint of the Water Industry’.

Abstracts should be 150 words and provide a broad outline of the theme of your presentation. The deadline is Friday 26th March 2010.

The keynote address; ‘The Impact of Competition on the Regulation and Financing of Water Companies’ will be given by Alan Sutherland, chief executive of the Water Commission for Scotland (WICS). Professor Issy Caffoor of Environmental Sustainability KTN will discuss ‘A Vision for a Low Carbon Water Industry 2050’ and Professor Charles Ainger of MWH examines ‘Innovation - much more that R&D’.

William Wilson, Barrister of Burges Salmon LLP will talk on ‘Integrating water law with the low carbon agenda’ and Professor Simon Tait of the University of Bradford will discuss the theme of ‘The Sewer as a Solids Transport System’.

The 4th EWWM Conference takes place on 27-28 September 2010 at The Royal Armouries, Leeds.
